Calgary man charged in 2015 parkade sex assault back in custody after violating house arrest

Calgary police said Friday they’ve located a man charged in connection with a violent sexual assault, after he violated a 24-hour house arrest.

On Wednesday, police said Andy Dick Ntunaguza, 32, was wanted on five counts of breaching a recognizance.

As of Friday morning, police said he is back in custody and scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.

Ntunaguza is charged in connection with the December 2015 assault of a woman in a parkade in the 200 block of 6 Avenue S.W.

Police said the woman, who was in her 40s, suffered serious injuries as a result.
