Kansas newlyweds are being mourned after they died in a car accident just one day after their wedding.
Austin Wesson and Rebekah Bouma were both 19 years old, and had received their marriage licence at a Wichita court on Friday. On Saturday, their Ford F-150 struck a tree near the city of Clearwater. Wesson died on the scene, while Bouma died in hospital shortly after.

“She is with the Lord that she loved so deeply and so joyfully and she is with her husband of just one day, Austin Wesson, whom she loved with all her heart,” the Facebook post read.
The mother also shared photos of the couple from their wedding day.
In an interview with People Magazine, she explained that the couple first met just months ago, during a missionary trip to South Africa.
“It was only a week after they met that she called me and said she was sure she met the man she was going to marry,” she said.
According to the magazine, the couple was engaged by June.
The Washington Post reported they were planning to hold a wedding reception in September at the bride’s parents’ home.
Now, her sisters will wear their bridesmaids dresses to her funeral.
