Halifax police are hoping the public can help identify a man in connection to a robbery that took place on Tuesday.
Police say they responded to a robbery just after 1 p.m. in the 400-block of Herring Cove Road. They say a man entered the store, pointed a handgun and demanded money. The man then left on foot.
According to police, the suspect is described as a black man, approximately 30 to 40 years old, five-foot-seven with a stocky build. He was wearing a black jacket over a red hoodie, black track pants, black sneakers with white midsoles and a backwards black hat when the robbery occurred.
Surveillance photos have been released by police in hopes of identifying the suspect.
