Health officials say 16 doctors have been hired in Cape Breton.
The Nova Scotia Health Authority says the new hires should improve access to health care on the island.

Five new doctors started in Cape Breton in July, with 11 more set to start in the next six months.
Four are family doctors and 12 are specialists, including psychiatry, radiology and emergency.
