Logan Lake RCMP were called to an area approximately three kilometres south of Exit 336, for a report of a vehicle in the ditch, just before 6 a.m.

Police say it appears the vehicle was travelling southbound when it hit a deer, causing it to veer off the highway and into a deep ditch. Two of the three people in the vehicle died on scene while the third occupant was critically injured and was taken to hospital.
