A 48-year-old man has been extradited from Jamaica to Toronto and charged with three counts of sexual assault, five years after police initially put out a Canada-wide arrest warrant for him.
Toronto police allege that between 1996 and 2012, a man had unprotected sex with women without disclosing he was HIV positive, as required by law.
A Canada-wide arrest warrant was issued for the suspect in October 2012, at which time the suspect fled to Jamaica, according to police.

George Flowers was extradited from Jamaica and brought back to Canada on Thursday.
He is charged with three counts of aggravated sexual assault.
