The water level in Okanagan Lake experienced another drop in the last 24 hours, this one by 2.1 centimetres.
As of Thursday morning, the lake level was sitting at 343.144 metres above sea level but that is still 66 centimetres above full pool.
Even if the lake begins to decline more rapidly, levels are not expected to return to normal until the end of July.
The historic high water level has emergency officials warning foreshore residents to remain vigilant.
Warm weather over the next week is expected to bring moderate afternoon winds ranging from 20-30 kms/hr daily.
That means property owners along the lakeshore should regularly assess and bolster flood protection measures.
