A man in his early 20s has been rescued after falling halfway down a cliff on Friday afternoon.
According to Halifax Fire’s Twitter, two firefighters scaled down the edge of a cliff to help with the rescue. A total of about 10 team members were on scene to help with the rescue.

Brad Connors, the division commander, told Global News the call came in around 3:12 p.m.
The department’s Twitter goes on to say a man in his early 20s was walking in the Eagle Nest area when the ground gave way.
Connors said preliminary information was that the man suffered an ankle injury and was “unable to free himself from the cliff.”
According to the department’s Twitter, the man fell halfway down a cliff in the area of Snowy Owl and Shore drives.
The man’s friend called 911 and alerted authorities.
At 5 p.m., Halifax Fire tweeted that the man was transported to a waiting EHS vehicle.
