A Saskatchewan film production company has succeeded in breaking a world record for the longest marathon playing indoor hockey.
The 62-hour and two minute feat was accomplished over three days in July 2016, when filmmakers Prairie Cat Productions Inc. were shooting the feature-length high school comedy, Talent.

Guinness World Records confirmed the official title on its website. The previous world record was set at 60 hours.
From July 29 to July 31 2016, 24 players rotated through hour-long shifts during the day and four-hour long shifts during the night.
The actual record-breaking event is tied into the plot of the yet-to-be released movie.
