A young man fell nearly 12 metres while enjoying the outdoors in Coquitlam on Tuesday afternoon.
A 21-year-old man slipped and fell near Crystal Falls on the Coquitlam River.
A technical rescue team managed to get to the injured man and transported him to hospital.
“We got up there and he had some laceration on his head so we started our spinal protocols and I packaged him up and brought him out on a trolley,” Glenn Dumore of Coquitlam Fire and Rescue said.
