When crews arrived, the fire had spread quickly beyond the vehicles.

Difficult terrain, including mud and inaccessible areas, and the dry conditions created problems for the 30 firefighters battling the blaze.

Crews were able to contain the grass fire to an area were minimal damage could occur and no structures were damaged.

Firefighters wrapped up their operations at around 10:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
