UPDATE – 5 p.m.: The power to all customers has now been restored.

A substation fault has knocked out power to 12,000 homes in North Vancouver.

BC Hydro says the power went off at 11:14 a.m. and crews are on scene.

Currently, BC Hydro does not have an estimated time of when power will be restored but they will update any info on their website.
