Police say woman appears to be slashed as result of Saskatoon home invasion

Saskatoon police say a woman was taken to hospital as a result of what appears to be a home invasion early Monday morning. Neil Fisher / Global News

Officers are at the scene of what appears to be a home invasion in the 700-block of Confederation Drive of Saskatoon Monday.

A 29-year-old woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police officials said it appears she was slashed with some sort of edged weapon.

No arrests have been made at this time.
