Saskatchewan residents will soon be able to decide what is the worst road in the province.
Voting opens on April 3 for CAA’s Saskatchewan’s Worst Roads Campaign.
Christine Niemczyk, communications director with CAA Saskatchewan, says this campaign has a unique way of bringing Saskatchewan residents together.

There are a few changes to this year’s campaign – pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists can also vote, along with drivers.
Niemczyk says all submissions will be delivered to the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure.
Last year, nearly 4,300 people took part and Highway 354 near Dilke was named the worst road in Saskatchewan for the second straight year.
“It’s really an opportunity for motorists across the province just to say…what the worst road you’ve come across as a concern to you or your passengers because there’s some safety concerns or issues that you’ve come across and you want to share that with other motorists as well,” Niemczyk said.
