Two people assaulted during home invasion: Saskatoon police

Saskatoon police are looking for three men after a home invasion early Monday morning.

At around 3 a.m. CT, officers were called to the 1800-block of Clarence Avenue after it was reported that three men unlawfully entered a residence.

Police officials said three people were sleeping inside the home at the time and two of them were assaulted. One man was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The three suspects then left out the back door with cash and drugs before fleeing in a vehicle.

They were dressed in black and had their faces concealed.

Police do not believe the home invasion was random. The investigation is ongoing.
