The winter weather isn’t quite over yet.
Montreal was covered with a blanket of 2-5 mm freezing rain overnight.
Sidewalks were slippery for the morning commute, forcing residents out of their homes early Tuesday morning to scrape the ice off their cars.

“I’m waiting for spring,” said NDG resident Vladislav Briesensky.
“It’s good to have four seasons, we enjoy good weather after the long winter.”

Warmer temperatures and rain are expected to melt most of the ice.
“I love shoveling,” said Dave Lazar, as he scraped off his car.
“I find it therapeutic. It’s a great workout no matter how much snow.”

Temperatures are once again expected to plummet towards the weekend.
