An Alberta Emergency Alert has ended in St. Paul County after what was described as a “civil emergency” alert was put in place Sunday evening.
Alberta Emergency Alert said the incident took place south of St. Brides on Highway 36.
No details were given about the alert. The public was asked to “stay clear of the area until it has been dealt with.”
RCMP roadblocks were put in place Sunday night. The area was reopened to the public at around 8:45 a.m. Monday.
“There is no longer a public safety concern,” read the Alberta Emergency Alert website Monday morning.
St. Brides is about 15 kilometres west of St. Paul.
