Nova Scotia RCMP identify 41-year-old man killed in pickup truck crash

MUSQUODOBOIT HARBOUR, N.S. – Nova Scotia RCMP have identified a 41-year-old man killed after the pickup truck he was travelling in left a highway and crashed.

Police say paramedics tried to revive Matthew Christian Gould following Saturday’s crash but he died of his injuries.

The single-vehicle accident happened on Highway 7 in Musquodoboit Harbour.

Police say the 17-year-old driver of the truck was travelling east on the highway when she lost control and left the road, hitting trees on the passenger side.

The girl was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
