EDMONTON – According to numbers from Statistics Canada, the top ten Canadian cities with the highest rates of impaired driving include five in Alberta.
The results were found using Statistics Canada’s annual crime data for municipal police services in the country’s 100 largest populations, and put together in Maclean’s magazine’s Most Dangerous Cities feature.
The ten cities with the highest rates of impaired driving in Canada are Grande Prairie, Red Deer, Medicine Hat, Kelowna (BC), Prince George (BC), St.John’s (Nfld), Nanaimo (BC), New Westminster (BC), St.Albert, and the regional municipality of Wood Buffalo.
