‘Fatty’ the dog recovered, stolen vehicle still missing

A fluffy white dog with the nickname “Fatty” has been located after going missing in Red Deer, Alta., on Wednesday.

The Great Pyrenees was inside a dark grey Toyota Matrix stolen from a parking lot on 67 Street at around 12:30 p.m.

On Thursday, RCMP said in a news release that Fatty had been located at Animal Services and was “safe.”

The vehicle, however, is still missing.

The car is described as dark grey with Alberta licence plate BFV 1634.

Anyone who has seen the vehicle is asked to contact Red Deer RCMP at 403-343-5575.
