WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed Canadian linebacker Akeem Whonder to their roster.
The Mississauga, ON., product previously attended training camp with both the Calgary Stampeders and Toronto Argonauts.
Whonder was named an Ontario University Athletics all-star after posting 53 tackles, two sacks and an interception in his final season with the Windsor Lancers.
