Before snow from the first storm had a chance to fully melt away, another snow storm is expected to hit the B.C. South Coast.
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for all of the South Coast, calling for snow to arrive on Saturday and Sunday.

A Pacific front is expected to hit late Saturday with snow developing in the evening and to continue on Sunday. A second front will arrive Sunday afternoon with snow continuing into the night.
The cold temperatures experienced in the region this past week will be pushed out and replaced with warmer temperatures up to 2 C as the snow gradually turns to rain on Sunday night.
Environment Canada said snowfall levels will be varied across the region, but a complete change-over to rain for most areas is expected by Monday afternoon.
However, the Fraser Valley and Howe Sound from Squamish to Whistler may continue to see snow throughout the day. There could also be a risk of freezing rain in those areas, along with inland parts of Vancouver Island including Port Alberni.

The snow melt, mixed with rainfall, on Monday could cause localized flooding in some areas on Monday.
Global BC meteorologist Kristi Gordon said Friday will remain cold and clear with a high of -2 C forecasted for Vancouver. If temperatures fall that low, Friday could be the coldest day reported at Vancouver International Airport since Jan. 18, 2012.
