WINNIPEG — Cold temperature means a desire to bundle up and stay warm. But what about getting those groceries?

To avoid the frigid cold as much as possible, we went on a hunt around town, from the comfort of the office and the internet, and found the best ways to get the essentials brought straight to you.

Liquor, lunch, and even groceries can all be brought straight to your door when you just don’t want to leave that warm office or comfortable couch.

Liquor Mart delivers beer, cider, or booze in allotted time slots. But with a fee attached. $7.30 delivery charge for a bottle or an entire case, and 70 cents for every additional bottle or case after that.

If you feel like ordering your meal in. Don’t worry about calling the restaurant, going to the restaurant, or hopping in your car for take out. You can order delivery, from the comfort of your own sweat pants off of your couch on your laptop.

Just Eat brings you a variety of cuisine options and locations.

At some point you may just get sick of ordering that take out and want to make a little something at home. But, do you want to brave the cold to get the groceries?

If you don’t, Save-on-Foods gives you the option to order delivery for your groceries. There’s a catch though. You won’t get all of the same options online as in store, and you have to spend a minimum of $40 and you do pay a delivery fee just under $5.

But, that’s just a price you choose to pay if you don’t want to head out in to the chilly temperature.
