To help reduce gift theft,  Citizens On Patrol (COP) volunteers with the Kelowna Regional RCMP are now patrolling Kelowna area malls and store parking lots.

“The general public can expect to see our highly visible COP volunteers patrolling parking lots in marked volunteer vehicles and handing out “DON’T BE AN EASY target” Holiday Edition tip cards,” RCMP Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey said. “These men and women have generously donated their time during the weeks leading up to Christmas to help ensure that your gifts make it all the way under the tree.”
