Twitter Canada has released its year-end data, giving us some insight into which Canadians were popular on the social media service during 2016.

There were many Canadian Twitter milestones for 2016, but Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) achieved a huge one when he became only the second Twitter user (Katy Perry was the first) to reach 90 million followers.

Toronto rapper Drake (@drake) became the second Canadian musician to reach 30 million followers and Justin Trudeau (@JustinTrudeau) became the first Canadian politician to reach 2 million followers.
