In the wake of a major winter storm that is set to hit southern Manitoba this week, the weather is also affecting schools Monday morning.
- All schools in Lakeshore School Division are closed.
- Fisher Branch Care-A-Lot For Tots Daycare and School age programs are closed.

Winter storm
Environment Canada has issued a number of winter storm watches and warnings for southern Manitoba starting Monday.

The storm is expected to bring significant snowfall and blowing snow. According to Environment Canada, the snow, heavy at times, is set to begin Monday evening and continue through Wednesday.
“In general total amounts of 15 to 30 cm are possible through Wednesday,” said Environment Canada in its release.
