The McGill metro station was closed for several hours Friday evening as police investigated reports of a possible stabbing Friday evening.
Police received numerous calls about a fight between several people at the metro station.
Officers arrived at the scene at 6:45 p.m. ET but were unable to locate any victims or assailants.
According to Montreal police spokesperson, Benoit Boisselle, witnesses reported seeing at least one person being hurt with a sharp object.
The decision was then made to close the station to protect the scene and allow investigators to collect evidence, Boisselle said.
Officers eventually located two male victims, aged 17 and 18 years old, in Montreal-area hospitals. Both suffered minor injuries to their hands.
Boisselle said it is unclear how the injuries were sustained and added the victims were uncooperative when interrogated by police.
A 17-year-old girl who was also injured to the upper body during the altercation was located at the Berri-UQAM metro station.
She was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Boisselle said investigators are reviewing surveillance video footage to get a better understanding of the circumstances surrounding the incident.
No arrests have been made.
