Mounties said the suspects fired shots from within the vehicle towards a deer in the field. They then continued to drive recklessly through the field, firing multiple shots from the vehicle, police said.

RCMP believe the suspects may have been impaired by alcohol at the time. The incident was reported Alberta Fish and Wildlife and the RCMP, who said the suspects committed multiple offences under the Trespass to Premises Act and Wildlife Act.

The vehicle is described as a grey Dodge Ram truck with a long box and a diesel engine. It’s believed to be a third generation, released anywhere between 2003 and 2009.
