Parts of Saskatchewan, including Moose Jaw are under a freezing rain warning.
The warning has been extended to areas south of Saskatoon, and now includes Outlook and Watrous.
According to Environment Canada, a low pressure system track east out of southern Alberta will spread rain showers and freezing rain across southern Saskatchewan and into west-central Manitoba on Monday.
Rain is expected to start in Swift Current early in the morning but is expected to intensify into a more widespread area of rain further to the northeast.
Freezing rain is most likely in areas north and east of Saskatoon as temperatures are expected to be below zero for most of the day.
Environment Canada officials said the freezing rain should end late in the afternoon or in the early evening for most areas.
Drivers planning to head out on roads are advised to use caution and check in with Saskatchewan Highway Hotline before heading out.
