REGINA – The former mayor of Regina has a new job.
Pat Fiacco has been named the new CEO of Tourism Saskatchewan.
Fiacco retired last month after serving 12 years as Regina’s mayor.
Tim McMillan, the minister responsible for Tourism Saskatchewan, says Fiacco has the right combination of experience and knowledge for the Crown corporation position.
“I am confident Mr. Fiacco is the right person to help move this industry forward,” said McMillan.
Tourism is a $1.7-billion industry in the province.
Fiacco will earn $165,000 per year in his new position.
