Okanagan residents were giving the United Way a fighting chance Thursday night at a fundraiser that saw fists fly in Kelowna.
Twenty-two people steeped into the ring at the Laurel Packinghouse for a black tie gala evening to raise money for the United Way.

While participants have been in training, the event was more about bragging rights than leaving with a title.
Global Okanagan’s own meteorologist Wesla Wong stepped into the ring to help out with the event. However, she left her gloves ringside for the night.
