Man dies after being stabbed in fight between two groups in Montreal

A fight between two groups Thursday night at around 11:45 p.m. resulted in a man being stabbed in his upper body.

Montreal police have confirmed that the man was unable to overcome his injury and died.

The altercation took place on Mayor Street near de Bleury Street. The victim was a thirty-year-old man and was taken to hospital.

The suspect fled the scene and has not been found.

It is Montreal’s 19 homicide of the year.
