WINNIPEG — A woman was trapped in her car after a crash on Wilkes Avenue Tuesday evening.
Emergency crews responded to a two-car collision at Wilkes Avenue and Elmhurst Road just before 6 p.m.

Two people were involved in the crash with one of them requiring extrication to get out of the vehicle. She was transported to hospital and is now in stable condition.
The intersection was closed until 8 p.m.
It is currently unknown if charges will be considered.
