A suspect is facing charges in the case of a man caught uttering racist threats and insults in a video that went viral a week ago, Abbotsford Police confirmed Monday.
Karry Vernon Corbett, 47, is facing two counts of assault, one count of uttering threats and one count of causing a disturbance.
The incident allegedly started over a parking ticket. A man was yelling at a parking enforcement officer when lawyer Ravi Duhra began filming on his phone. The man then turned his anger on Duhra, spouting many racial insults before driving away.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Corbett, a resident of Hope, and police are in the midst of attempting to locate and arrest him.
Corbett is due in court Nov. 14 to stand trial for an earlier charge of assault with a deadly weapon. He has a long list of previous offences.
