Dogs got into the action Saturday morning in Kelowna’s Pandosy Village, for the Pumpkins and Pooches Pet Parade, sponsored by the Pandosy Village Veterinary Hospital.

“We’re doing it to promote the businesses and the neighbourhood of Pandosy Village,” said Arnica Rowan, owner of Pandosy Village Veterinary Hospital.

The pooches were dressed as superheros and pirates and food-items, to name a few costumes.

More than 50 dog-lovers and their pets paraded around Pandosy Village, stopping in at local businesses to trick-or-treat.

Registration fees charged to participate in the event were donated to Paws it Forward, a Kelowna-based pet rescue organization.
