Every Halloween, Global Calgary meteorologist Jordan Witzel surprises viewers (and staff) by donning a humorous Halloween costume during his weather reports.
This year, Witzel paid homage to Steven Spielberg’s 1982 hit E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial by dressing as Elliott – with his pug Benson playing the role of E.T.
“It was our road trip movie this summer – for the kids,” Witzel explained. “I’m just a sidekick, it’s her costume.”

Benson, 11, was happy to be at work with her dad – although she did relieve herself on the floor of the on-air studio. Whoops!

Halloween isn’t the only time when Witzel wears a costume.
