A 61-year-old male driver of a transport truck is dead following a crash between two tractor-trailers on Highway 401 in Milton overnight.
Ontario Provincial Police said the collision happened just before midnight on the westbound lanes at Trafalgar Road.
Sgt. Kerry Schimdt said the trucks were traveling slowly due to the construction further up the road when one of the vehicles rear-ended another tractor-trailer.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police said debris from the crash hit a minivan but no other injuries were reported.
The westbound lanes of Highway 401 at Trafalgar Road were closed for several hours for the investigation but reopened just before 8 a.m.
