TORONTO – A late-night brawl inside a Chinatown restaurant was captured on video and quickly went viral.
The video captures a few moments early Saturday morning when the fists (and a few plates) flew at Pho Xe Lua restaurant on Spadina Avenue. Two groups of pre-Halloween revellers are seen fighting over seating space at the tiny eatery.
In the cell phone video, which was posted on YouTube, a waitress is seen trying to keep the peace while spectators cheer.

Eric T., who took the video, said the brawl started after the occupants started to argue over the space in the restaurant.
“Everybody was pretty shocked, I thought that something was going to happen,” said Eric T. “The guy in the green shirt threw a menu across the room and that’s what caused the guy to throw the plate across the room – everybody just started fighting after that.”
He said by the time police showed up the majority of people had left the scene.
According to Toronto Police, a woman was treated for cuts to her face after getting hit by a plate. They are looking for a light-skinned Asian man, 20 to 25 years of age, with a multi-coloured tattoo on his left bicep. In the video, the suspect is seen removing the shirt of his SWAT costume.
