Subway service resumes at Union Station after smoke detected on train

Subway service between Bloor to Osgoode stations has resumed following a fire investigation at Union Station Monday morning.

Toronto police say smoke was detected on one of the subway trains just before 8 a.m. forcing an evacuation.

Authorities say no injuries were reported.

Police say the smoke was a result of a mechanical issue.
