Kelowna RCMP continue to follow leads three years after Christopher Hetu’s death

Christopher Daniel Hetu was last seen entering Mill Bridge Park in Kelowna at about 1 a.m. on October 27th 2009.

Sometime between 1:10 a.m. and 1:15 a.m., witnesses heard between three and five gun shots coming from the park, where Hetu was found.

The 20-year-old was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It has now been three years since the shooting of the young man who had only recently moved to Kelowna from Prince George.

Police believe there are individuals in both cities that have information about this murder and ask that they come forward to assist in identifying the person or persons responsible for Hetu’s death.
