Regina police investigating after pedestrian struck in hit and run

A pedestrian is recovering with noteworthy but non-life threatening injuries after being hit by a car Saturday evening.

Police say it happened around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Angus street.

According to police, the vehicle was traveling westbound when it struck the pedestrian.

The car then fled the scene without tending to the victim or speaking with police. The victim was then transported to hospital by EMS.
