Edmonton Oilers’ goalie Cam Talbot and wife Kelly welcome twin babies

The Edmonton Oilers family has two new – and very adorable – members. Goaltender Cam Talbot and his wife welcomed twins Wednesday.

Cam introduced the new arrivals on Twitter.

Landon Thomas and Sloane Colleen Talbot were born Wednesday morning via cesarean section.

“We couldn’t be more in love with these two,” the goalie tweeted.

The date had been scheduled for some time, Cam shared ahead of Tuesday’s Oilers game.

“We kind of planned it when we sat down with the doctor a couple of months ago when we came to town,” he said. “We looked at the schedule and we said, ‘this day works. It is between two games, will probably get the day off. I am sure the coaches will allow it,’ so it’s been scheduled for a couple months now. Something to look forward to for sure.”
