Man wanted by Toronto police in alleged assault of woman on TTC bus after window dispute

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man after a 36-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted on a TTC bus when she closed the window in front of her.

Police said officers were called to attend a bus in the Markham Road and Eglinton Avenue East area around 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 27.

The woman was sitting near the back of the bus and closed a window. A man became angry after she shut the window and began to yell at her.

He approached her twice and spat on her face, police said. He then came back for a third time and assaulted her.

Police described the man as having a tanned complexion, being between 23 and 38 years old, standing 5’7”, and weighing around 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a purple and green sweater and blue jeans.
