Business fire in Osler, Sask. sends plumes of smoke into sky

Fire crews were called to a smoky blaze in a small town north of Saskatoon on Sunday morning.

Members of the Osler Fire Department were called to DAG-Wood Products at around 6:20 a.m. CT. They managed to contain the flames to the business with no neighbouring structures being damaged.

As of 4 p.m., fire Chief Jason Pauls said they were busy putting out hot spots.

He expects damage to be hundreds of thousands of dollars and said the building is a total loss.

A fire investigator will be out Monday morning to determine the cause.

No injuries were reported.
