Man reportedly stabbed while arguing with woman in downtown Saskatoon

Police are trying to locate a woman who allegedly stabbed a 29-year-old man in downtown Saskatoon on Friday.

At around 9:35 p.m. CT, officers were called to a report of a stabbing in the 300-block of 2nd Avenue South.

Officers arrived to find a man with a stab wound to his abdomen. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Witnesses told police the man was in the company of a woman when an argument started between them.

They said she stabbed him before fleeing eastwards on 20th Street from 2nd Avenue.

Police said the man was not cooperative with their investigation.

The woman is described as indigenous in appearance, around 250 pounds, with a fair skin complexion and blond hair with black streaks. She was carrying a pink handbag at the time.
