Toronto homicide officers investigating after man found dead in north Etobicoke

Toronto police are investigating after a 31-year-old Brampton man was found dead at a trucking business in north Etobicoke Saturday.

Emergency crews were called to BTI Cartage on Humber College Boulevard near Finch Avenue West around 2:40 a.m. after Maninder Singh Sandhu was found dead with gunshot wounds.

Officers from 23 Division and the forensics unit initially responded to the call, but the homicide unit was later called in and it has taken over the investigation.

A post-mortem examination was scheduled for Saturday.

Investigators are looking to speak with anyone who was in the area who might have seen or heard something.
