Who’s the Boss? has had fans begging for a cast reunion since the show went off the air in the early ’90s.

Now, 30 years later, Entertainment Weekly has brought the team together for an in-depth interview.

The show focused on a former professional athlete single dad (Tony Danza) who worked as a housekeeper for a high-powered female executive (Judith Light), her son (Danny Pintauro), and her eccentric mother (Katherine Helmond). Also in tow was his daughter (Alyssa Milano).

“It just feels like it was yesterday,” said Milano in a behind-the-scenes video of the reunion. (You can watch the video, above.)

“From the moment the show started, it literally felt like family,” noted Pintauro in agreement. “I had this other family to hang out with and make family memories with. [To Light and Helmond] I used to give you both mom and grandmom gifts to you for Christmas every year. They were family. They still are.”

Danza went on to add: “One of the things I’m most proud of is these two [Milano and Pintauro]. It’s tough! Kids and TV shows — who knows what happens? And we had two of the best.”

In the video, the cast goes on to reminisce about a few of their favourite episodes, like the one where Danza’s character buys a bra for then-teenage Milano’s character, Sam. “This was at a time when we could only say ‘bra’ once,” noted Milano, which led to the writers cooking up the term “foundation garment” for subsequent mentions.
