Four of the five young men arrested in relation to the killing of Tylor McInnis are facing a slew of charges including first-degree murder, kidnapping and extortion.
A teen is also facing a charge of accessory after the fact.

McInnis was 26 when his body was found in the trunk of a stolen car in a cemetery in North Preston on Aug. 23. His death was later deemed a homicide by the medical examiner.
The five men arrested Tuesday are facing the following charges:
Shawntez Neco Downey, 24, from North Preston
- First-degree murder
- Attempted murder
- Assault with a weapon
- Robbery extortion
- Kidnapping
- Unlawful confinement
Daniel Romeo Downey, 18, North Preston
- First-degree murder
- Robbery
- Extortion
- Kidnapping
- Unlawful confinement
Nicco Alexander Smith, 25, from Cole Harbour
- First-degree murder
- Robbery
- Extortion
- Unlawful confinement
Judson Lemar Falls, 34, from North Preston
- Accessory after the fact
- Unlawful confinement
The 17-year-old male who cannot be named is from Eastern Passage and has been charged with being an accessory after the fact.
All five men are in Dartmouth provincial court Wednesday to answer to the charges.
Halifax police say several departments have been involved in this investigation, including the homicide unit, HRP and RCMP dog services and street crime enforcement.
