Two people are facing drug charges after police in Nova Scotia dismantled a marijuana grow op.

Police in Lunenburg searched a home on Thursday and say they seized 36 mature plants, five pounds of processed marijuana, and growing equipment including three generators.

Police say they also seized contraband cigarettes and a loaded shotgun.

Two residents of Gold River appeared in Bridgewater provincial court yesterday facing charges that included production of marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
