WINNIPEG — A 36-year-old woman is dead after a vehicle she was a passenger in collided with a pick-up truck Tuesday.
Around 4 p.m., police signaled a vehicle traveling on Boyd Avenue near Arlington Street to pull over. The vehicle didn’t stop and sped westbound on Boyd Avenue. It then crashed into a pick-up truck that was traveling northbound on Sinclair Street.

The 36-year-old woman from the first vehicle suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two teenagers and an adult male in the same vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the driver of the vehicle they tried to pull over, was impaired. The 20-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was charged with numerous offences, including impaired driving causing death.
He remains in custody.
